Industrial Clusters & Networks

Membership in clusters and networks contributes to a sense of belonging. However, we don't just want to be members, we want to actively participate and make a difference.

This requires effort and commitment- and pays off: Not only for the network or society as a whole, but also for us: lateral thinking, different perspectives, self- affirmation, collection of ideas, novelties, management and leadership training, gaining motivation, dealing with problems, initiating business, gaining orders, but also maintaining contacts are just a few of the benefits that clusters and networks offer.

Competence Group

The CG4CP (Competence Group for Clean Production) friendly network with six companies of different sizes and expertise.

What unites us are our goals:

  • Expansion of our own corporate competence for cleanroom technology
  • Realization of joint projects
  • Initiation of regional and supraregional business initiatives
  • Enrichment of education and training through new concepts

Federation of Austrian Industries

Alongside the Chamber of Commerce, the IV (Federation of Austrian Industry) is one of the most important economic organizations in Austria.

As a leading company in our industry, membership and active participation in the IV offer us a wide range of economic and communication benefits as well as valuable organizational support for international business.

Silicon Alps Cluster

The origin of the SAL (Silicon Alps Cluster) lies in the me2c (Microelectronics Cluster), which was founded in 2000 at our home base in Villach. Not least thanks to this network, an economic field of strength in the field of electronics, microelectronics and mechatronics has emerged in Carinthia and Styria, which has meanwhile developed into a high-tech center in Europe.

Ortner Reinraumtechnik was a co-initiator and founding member, both for me2c and for the expansion of the cluster to SAL. For us, the cluster work is less an obligation than a motivation. Because the success of the cluster has also always contributed significantly to our own economic development.
