Ortner Reinraumtechnik GmbH supports the 15 students of the Lerncafé Spittal in shaping their future in a positive way. The company is sponsoring the Caritas educational institution for the second time with a donation of 5,000 euros, thus ensuring that faces are beaming. Caritas Director Ernst Sandriesser thanks the company for the valuable donation.
Ortner Group gives children (educational) space
Passion for the future is in the company's DNA. "But we also want to show the same passion when it comes to giving children in our area a perspective for the future," says Stefanie Rud, CEO of Ortner Reinraumtechnik GmbH. The company, which is headquartered in Villach and has a production site in Möllbrücke, attaches great importance to good training for its employees*, but has also recognized that education starts much earlier. "We must not look the other way here, but must offer all children - regardless of their social background - equal opportunities," Rud continues.
Success proves us right
Learning café manager Siegrun Marchetti and her eleven-strong team of volunteer learning assistants in Spittal are committed to providing these fair opportunities. Together with the children, they learn, play and do their homework. - Free of charge. Unfortunately, this is not a matter of course for many children in their familiar environment at home: "In our learning café, we cater to the talents and deficits of each individual child and can thus accompany them well through the school year," says Marchetti, who can already look back on numerous success stories since the opening of the Spittal educational facility in early summer 2021. This is why support like that provided by the Ortner company is so important for the Caritas learning cafés. Thanks to the donation of 5,000 euros, valuable educational work can once again be carried out and 15 children can be offered a perspective.
Right to education
Caritas Director Ernst Sandriesser is delighted about the wonderful support for the Spittal Learning Café provided by the volunteer learning assistants and Ortner Reinraumtechnik GmbH. He thanks all involved from the bottom of his heart, because: "Education is the best prevention of poverty. Children and young people have a right to it. With a good education, their chances of social participation in life increase. Fair access to education should be made possible for all, so that no gift or talent is lost."
