With the Lotus Air Filter System, Ortner is launching a high-performance air purification system that is long established in the pharmaceutical, medical, electronics and food industries and is based on a highly effective filter- ventilation system solution.

High infection protection. By means of HEPA filters (High- Effciency Particulate Air/ Arrestance), particles that can also be carriers of coronaviruses can be filtered out of the ambient air with an efficiency of over 99.995%. These include bacteria, viruses, pollen, aerosols and solid particles.

Separated pathogens are rendered permanently harmless by natural death or inactivation in the filter. This technical process is ideally suited for ensuring a high level of protection against infection- also in public and private areas.

Lotus Air Effectiveness Demonstrably Tested

The simulations illustrated show the effect of clean air flow in a room of 120 m³ size (10 x 4 x 3 m), which was uniformly heavily loaded with germs.

The color red indicates the concentration of germs. The filtration shows significant virus clearance after only one minute of use of the Lotus Air 1200. After 5 minutes, there are no more virus hotspots in the room, and after 10 minutes the room is almost completely virus- free.
